Item Description Antique African statue of tribal doctor. Origin is believed to be from Marrakesh, in Northern Africa, where it was presented to an American humanitarian after many years of service to families in Marrakesh. She was told that the rare figure is well over 150 years old and is of museum quality. It measures 7 1/2" tall and approximately 5" deep and weighs approximately 2 pounds. The surface shows fine detail and age-appropriate wear on the extended features and rim around the pot. The figure is seated with an apothecary at his feet.
